Why I built Deco.

Deco is built by one person. My name is Felix Padilla Engstrom, and I'm from Scandinavia. Over the last five years I have worked as a financial consultant, as a financial analyst at Toyota, and today I am in tech at an AI company. I am a finance nerd at heart, so personal finance was the obvious place to start.

Most people were never taught how money works, and I spent those five years watching how little of finance was built for them. Good guidance has always belonged to the 1% who needed it least. I built Deco for the other 99%, with one clear picture of where you stand, a real plan to move you forward, and it doesn't cost anything.

Building Deco is the most meaningful work I have ever done, and I believe it shows in the details. Opening it should bring a sense of progress, possibility and above all financial breathing room. That feeling is exactly what I want Deco to give you.
