Terms of Service

1. WHO WE ARE

Deco is a personal finance management application that helps you track spending, set savings goals, manage debts, and visualize your financial life. Deco is not a bank, financial institution, or licensed financial advisor.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old to use Deco. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we discover that an account belongs to a minor, we will terminate it immediately.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

3.1 Registration. You may sign in using email/password or a third-party provider (Google, and Apple on iOS). You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

3.2 Security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at usedecoapp@outlook.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3.3 One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or to abuse the service.

4. ACCOUNTS & TRANSACTION DATA

4.1 Adding accounts. Deco lets you add bank, card, and investment accounts manually. To bring in transaction history, you upload a statement file (CSV or Excel export) from your bank or card provider; Deco parses the file, detects the account and currency, and categorizes each transaction. We do not connect to your bank and never receive or store your online banking credentials. Automatic, live bank connections are planned for a future release.

4.2 Broker & investment accounts. You manually enter your holdings (by ticker or ISIN); Deco retrieves live and historical prices from third-party market-data providers to value your portfolio for display purposes. This information does not constitute investment advice.

4.3 Accuracy. Data you upload or enter, and pricing data retrieved from third-party market-data providers, may not always be complete, accurate, or up to date. Deco makes no guarantee as to the accuracy of this data.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree NOT to:

• •Use Deco for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• •Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service
• •Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
• •Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission
• •Use Deco on behalf of a business entity without a separate commercial agreement

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, design, branding, algorithms, and technology within Deco — including but not limited to the name "Deco", the logo, the UI, and any proprietary categorization logic — are the exclusive property of Deco and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or other proprietary materials.

7. FINANCIAL DISCLAIMER

Deco is a personal finance tool for informational and organizational purposes only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making any financial decisions. Deco is not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from financial decisions made based on information shown in the App.

8. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS

Deco offers Free, Pro, and AI plan tiers. Pro and AI are not yet available for purchase — pricing will be announced before they launch. If and when premium features become purchasable:

• •Payments are processed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms
• •Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• •Refunds are handled in accordance with App Store / Google Play policies
• •Prices may change with reasonable advance notice

9. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1 The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 Deco does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

9.3 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Deco's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) $50.

9.4 Deco is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deco and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. TERMINATION

11.1 By you. To close your account, contact us at usedecoapp@outlook.com. Upon closure, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11.2 By us. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

11.3 Effect. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 9, and 10 survive termination.

12. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, United States.
